LONE GROVE, OK - Residents in Lone Grove turned out for a city council meeting; some of them still angry over a recent water outage.

One resident at the meeting even asked for the removal of the city manager.

There were tense moments at Tuesday's council meeting, as residents spoke out about the recent water crisis in Lone Grove.

Resident Casey Botts was visibly upset with city leaders about the issue. Her husband is a former city employee and she says his recent termination was unwarranted.

Botts asked council members to fire City Manager Marianne Elfert. Council members took no action on Bott's request.

Communication was also an issue discussed. Brandon Moss was out of water for 8-days. He says communication between city officials and residents could have been better.

Elfert says she is working on a incident report which she plans to send to state officials.
