SHERMAN, Tex. -- A Sherman man says someone assaulted him and stole money from his wallet. Police say it happened at a home in the 700 block of South Crockett Street.

Jonathan Beaubien says he was working on his truck in the driveway, when a friend he had not seen for years showed up with another man. Beaubien tells us he blacked out, and the next thing he knew, he was in the hospital.

Beaubien's eye was swollen shut, and he had to get stitches in his lip.

"I wake up in the hospital and I had a friend tell me what happened. He's like, ‘Yeah man, we've seen you just sitting, you had a rag or something over your face and you were sitting there and I said, ‘Man, I don't even know what happened.’" victim Jonathan Beaubien said.

Police are still looking for the suspects.

"Friend" - you need to re-evaluate your definition of 'friend'
