SHERMAN, Tex. -- It looks like the Grayson County recycling program may continue after all.
On Wednesday, we told you the company that disposes of the recycling, IESI, only cleaned out the bin once a week, leaving residents to drop their trash on the ground around the full bin. (See Related Stories below)
Precinct One Commissioner Johnny Waldrip told us if things didn't change, the recycling program might be cut. Waldrip says officials with IESI contacted him Thursday and have agreed to pick up the recycling twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
However, officials say residents can no longer bring glass or plastic bags to the bin.
