GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A Texas State Senator is being endorsed by Grayson County leaders. Several area leaders threw their support behind Republican incumbent State Senator Craig Estes.

County commissioners, Sheriff Keith Gary, County Judge Drue Bynum and state representative Larry Phillips were among those gathered.

Estes' district runs all the way through Wichita Falls, but he says he is thrilled to receive support from those in this area.

“For six years I've tried to put the needs of Grayson County and the counties in the eastern part of this district the uppermost in my mind when I make decisions down in Austin," Senator Estes said.

Senator Estes says transportation and securing our borders are some of the most pressing issues he plans to focus on in Austin.

Estes faces Charles R. Stafford from Denton in next Tuesday’s Republican Primary.
