DICKSON, Okla. - Classes were disrupted for part of the day in Dickson after an apparent threat was made against the school. Now a pair of students believed to be responsible are facing punishment.
That threat was apparently written on a note which was found in a bathroom. Carter County Sheriff's Deputies checked the entire campus and found no explosive devices.
"Dickson Police Department called us and asked for assistance. Of course that's why we have our bomb dog that we got last year. And we're very pleased with the way the dog works and the deputy."
Dickson administrators say the two students behind the threat have been given long-term suspensions. No word if any criminal charges are pending.
