BONHAM, TX -- The city of Bonham will soon have a new recycling center thanks to a grant provided through the Texoma Council of Governments. The city will build a center designed for paper, cardboard, aluminum, and plastic.

The center will be similar to the street department’s trash site off of Highway 56. City officials say they have not decided where they will put it, but know the new center will be a big success.

“We want to do our part to conserve our environment," Bonham city manager Corby Alexander said.

City officials say the new center should be up and running in the next couple of months.

I think this is wonderful. Will it be open to everyone in Fannin County?
