Business coming back for Eddie Mac's

SHERMAN, TX - Red lights were turned on Wednesday afternoon at Lamberth and Travis, making construction at that intersection officially complete.

Now, Eddie McEwen, who owns Eddie Mac's old fashion burgers, says business should start picking up.

He says business has been hard since construction started almost one year ago, especially since he was told the project would only take five or six months to complete.

McEwen says even construction workers were asking how he was making it.

McEwen says, “We weren't even doing 50% sometimes. There were just days we tried to stay open. That was it."

McEwen says now that the crews and congestion is gone, he needs a couple of months of good sales to get caught back up.

"Rushing" Paving? Crawling is more like it. Anyway, I'm glad Eddie Mac's is still open, and would happily recommend their burgers to anybody.

Rushing Paving should be sued for the lost business. They are notorious for dragging their feet on projects. Fortunately they sold to a larger company. If not the construction would probably still be underway.
