Marshall Co., OK -- Thirty-five to 40 acres of land and 60 bales of hay went up in flames Wednesday afternoon in Marshall County.
The fire started around 4:00 pm at Highway 377 and Linn Road. Madill Firefighters tell us they returned to the station around 9:20 pm.
The fire caused so much smoke that a mile stretch of Highway 377 was shut down for nearly five hours Wednesday night.
Crews from Madill and Tri City had help from a seizmograph company helicopter, fighting that fire.
The bales of hay were scattered and are burning themselves out.
