DURANT, Okla. -- Two men are jailed in Bryan County accused of trying to steal beer and cigarettes from a convenience store.

Durant police say Jonathan Watson and Phillip Spicer told them they tried to steal beer from two other stores but had no luck.

When they tried to pry open the door at Jerry's Corner Store on First Avenue, the alarm went off and they ran away.

Watson and Spicer are accused of second degree burglary. They were booked into the Bryan County Jail.

Police say two other people may also be involved.
