SHERMAN, Tex. -- Sherman Police are on the lookout for a robber.
Officers say just before 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, a man tried to steal an iPod accessory from the Sherman Target store.

When store security tried to stop him, he reportedly struggled and one security officer was slightly injured.

The Sherman Police K-9 officer could not find the man's tracks, but did recover the property.

The suspect is described as a white man with medium build, last seen wearing blue jeans, a light colored shirt, and running toward the woods west of Target.

Officers say the suspect will face robbery charges when apprehended.

If you have information, call the Sherman Police Department.

the man ran from the town center to some property just north of it, onto my grandparents property. they followed his footprints to within yards of my grandparents home. the police searched all over the 20 acres but did not find him, which upset me cause what IF he came back and tried to rob them? the police tried for several hours to find him but couldnt, they even had dogs out there. i am more concerned for the safety of the people that live in that area.

They will never find him unless the security cameras pick him up

My car was stolen out of my driveway. The police did not look for it or even try to investigate. They just made the report so I could file with my insurance company. I would think a car would be easier to locate than an Ipod accessory.

Ha you guys are funny! Imagine the outcry if the story said the PD was not investigating the robbery because there are more important things to do. it is worth investigating because guys who do things like that also do other things that are worse..get him. No patience for thieves

Is it just me or are there a lot worse things going on around here than a stolen ipod accessory?

If they catch him, and the describtion of the man is not very good, he could always change his cloth and look totally different
