TISHOMINGO, Okla. -- The Murray State Board of Regents has selected their 19th president. Dr. Noble Jobe was named president at Tuesday's regularly scheduled board meeting.
Jobe was one of three finalists for the job and had been acting interim president at Murray State.
Jobe has taught at ECU, OSU, and colleges in Tennessee and Missouri.
He began his career with Murray State as a biology instructor back in 2002, and five years later was appointed interim provost at MSC.
Jobe says he is honored to be selected.
His appointment begins immediately.
