GAINESVILLE, TX -- A Montague man is behind bars in Cooke County for capital murder.

Roger Allen Clark, 39, was arrested in connection with the death of 26-year-old Patrick William Fleitman, Jr.

Sheriff Mike Compton says Fleitman was found dead in his yard off of County Road 320, just outside of Gainesville back in February.

Cooke County deputies were assisted in their investigation by the Texas Rangers.

No word whether prosecutors will seek the death penalty for Clark.

All I got to say about this is..Why did they lock Rodger up and then let him go??? I'm tired of a murderer being out there. If they had enough evidence to go after him then what in the hell is he doing out?? Also for all of you who think that he should be free then shame on you, Patrick doen't get to walk around this earth anymore, never had a chance to have kids or get married and why? Because of a scum bag who thinks that he can get away with murder. Well all I got to say is that one day you will get caught, everybody does...Whoever has information about this needs to go to the police and stop blogging about it on here I mean what do you really think this is doing? I'm tired of everyone holding it in because their scared of what the person who did this might do to them, well how do you think Patrick felt? Don't you think that he was scared at that moment too? Well if you know anything then please let it be heard stop holding it in, dont you think its been long enough?

the only thing that needs to be said is Roger is back home where he belongs. To all of you that said hang him when this whole thing started I say to you if he was guilty then why would they let him go? You people can quote the bible all you want but the fact remains that they do not have enough evidence to hold him, because he did NOT do this. To Roger if you see this I for one am glad you are back home where you belong.

Webster's Dictionary says a Testament (as in old and new) is a covenant. A covenant means a contract. We are to live by the new testament laws. (Romans 7) As for Leviticus, I have read it several times since your 1st entry of it. I still can not see where that applies to Melinda or any of the personal attacks about her. I can reread Leviticus, I can share it with my family. It will still not have anything to do with Melinda or the fact that she was and is hurting deeply. In all this mess, she is the one I am most concerned for. She does not deserve the criticism that is being doled out to her on her husband's behalf. That is the reason I chose the verses that I did. We should try to help her and comfort her as much as possible. This cannot be easy and then add insults on top of it all. My heart breaks for her. I'm reminded of another verse. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God for Christ's sake forgave you. Eph. 4:32
