CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Two teenagers accused in the death of an Ardmore man appeared in Carter County court Wednesday.

Diondre Maytubby is expected to plead guilty on April 1. Jason Scallion has said he will take his case to trial. That's scheduled to begin April 2.

Prosecutors initially charged both Maytubby and Scallion with first degree murder but those charges were reduced to manslaughter for both men in December.

Scallion faces manslaughter charges in the beating death of Stephen Paul Goddard last year.
