SHERMAN, Tex. - Long-time Sherman community leader Henry Sory has died. Kiwanis Club members say Sory passed away Thursday morning.

Sherman's Sory Elementary was dedicated last month in his honor. Mr. Sory was a long-time advocate of the school district.

A rosary has been set for 6:00 Sunday night at Waldo Funeral Home and a memorial service is set for Monday at Saint Mary's in Sherman.
