Armed robbery at Ardmore liquor store

ARDMORE, Okla. -- In Carter County, a popular liquor store is robbed at gunpoint. This is the second robbery in three days in Ardmore.

Police want you to take a close look at these surveillance pictures. They say the two young men dressed in dark colors are prime suspects in an armed robbery which took place shortly after 1:00 pm at the Good Spirits Liquor Store--that's in the 1600 block of North Commerce.

Authorities say one man walked into the store, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money. The gunman and an accomplice are believed to have taken off on foot, and are still at large.

Captain Eric Hamblin with the Ardmore Police Department says the man they are looking for two male suspects. The first is approximately 5'10" to 6 feet tall, 200-215 pounds, with either strawberry-blond or light brown hair. The second suspect is approximately early 20's, 5'10", 150 pounds with black hair and some sideburns.

This is the second Ardmore business to be hit in three days. Investigators are not saying if they think the two may be related.
