JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK -- A Bromide man is facing manslaughter charges in Johnston County. Jimmy Carl Green, 36, made his initial appearance in court Thursday.

The judge set his bond at $100,000. Green is accused of running over and killing his friend, Johnny Lee Elder, 46, on March 22.

The district attorney says the two men may have had an argument, and that manslaughter charge does take into account a possible "heat of passion" defense.

Green will be back in court in May.

Heck I seen the Johnston County Sheriff have feed in back of the county vehicle feeding one day and it sure wasnt his personal vehicle, wouldnt that be misuse of county property. I think it is time for a change in Johnston County.

Take a look at their court records and you will be as relieved as I am that they managed to keep their drunken manslaughter among themsevles.
