DURANT, Okla. -- A Durant man got quite a surprise Monday afternoon. Russell Snavely, an employee of Eagle Suspensions in Durant went to lunch Monday afternoon, leaving his window open just a crack.

About five minutes later, when he returned to his truck he found a swarm of bees--literally hundreds of them just decided to set up shop along the roof lining.

We heard from Snavely's friend, Scott Dute late Monday night. He says he dressed up in make-shift protective gear and safely got rid of the bees.

Mark, your English teacher should be shot. They say don't mess with Texas, but for God's sake someone intervene a little.

I keep hearing about the disappearance of millions of bees around the country... good to know they're still going strong here in Texoma. That reminds me, I need to go roll up my car windows...

Were they Honeybees? Wasps? Yellow Jackets?? Reporters should learn to use specifics.

If it is your typical olkie car just add it to your privacy fence and harvest the honey
