To here ,gone: Why, ya! Sometimes when I see healthy ,abled bodied people hangin in their yards in the middle of the day, I do get a hankerin to yell : " Get A JOB!!!!!" Perhaps that was you standin in the yard, smoin your blunt, while the hard workers go back and forth to work. I am educated, so I have a desk job, where I am able to get on the net occasionally. Let me just say this, whether it applies to some of you or not... when hard working people drive by and you're sitting in your trash strewn yard in the middle of a work day, we get furious! When the hard working people are standin' behind you at Walmart and you have a load of junk food in your buggy , and you're payin' with food stamps, we get furious! When at the Dr's, pharmacy, etc., and you owe nothing cause of Medicaid, the hard workers get furious! It's disgusting. Most people work for everything they have, and so many think they are owed! We owe you NOTHING! They should bring back the poorhouse and debtors prison.

Well that's good to know. I have a 9-year-old who is extremely defiant, he KNOWS what he should or shouldn't do but doesn't give a &#@&. I try very, very hard to discipline him, keep track of him, etc and all anybody can think is that I'm a bad or irresponsible parent because my son misbehaves. Lovely!

Anonymous at 6:09 pm, you are partially right. Most parents these days suffer from lack of responsibility, which appears to be a lack of caring. They blame the daycare, the school, the neighbor's kids and a host of other things & people for anything negative in their children's lives. They are not accountable for their actions in life or childrearing. It's sad and at the same time it makes me so angry. Angry because taxpayers have paid for their medical bills, food and living expenses. There are no perfect parents, except our Father in heaven.
