DENISON, Tex. -- There may be a recession looming, but business is good for one local company. The Texoma Premiere Boat center broke ground in Denison on Friday.
The center has been working out of a temporary location in Sherman since the beginning of month, but they expect to be in the new facility by August.
Owner Thomas Webb says the new site will be convenient for local boaters.
"They'll be able to stay close to home as far as getting their boat repaired, buying the boats, they won't have to travel as far. It'll keep the money here in Grayson County and in Denison." Webb says.
Webb expects 15 to 18 jobs to be created once the new building is open.
