SHERMAN, Tex. -- Police in Sherman are investigating checks used at local businesses that a Sherman business owner says he did not sign.

The owner of the Executive Inn on Texoma Parkway in Sherman noticed checks from the motel clearing that he did not sign.

Police think someone hacked into the business account, counterfeited checks, and started passing them around at local businesses.

Investigators do have a person of interest in the case.

Citizen, it means that someone got into the owner's bank account on the internet and stole their information. Redneck Woman, I usually agree with your comments; but not everyone is of the "new age".
