Sherman woman has car stolen while paying gas attendant

SHERMAN, Tex. -- A Sherman woman returned from paying for her gas on Tuesday only to discover her car nowhere to be found.

The woman said she stopped for gas at Wal-Mart on Highway 82 in Sherman on Tuesday. When she went in to pay, someone drove off in her car.

The victim says she did leave the keys inside her vehicle.

Police say the suspect is a man, but so far no arrests have been made.

    good lord people let this go this has more comments and its stupbid the women left her keys in the car big deal everyone has done it one time or another and mr x why does this seem like an insurance job to you whatever you people are crazy for keeping this comment section going on and why have we not heard about the boy the commited suicide this weekend

    This is not Hooterville. You can't leave keys in the car and say it was stolen. she gave it away.

    It is her fault for leaving her keys in her car. She probably never thought some crack heads on welfare would ever take her car. She is a very honest and great person. I think we should be attacking the thief rather than her. She made a mistake. We all are not PERFECT! I am sure that she has learned a lesson. Oh yea and she is not a DUMB CHICK!!!!

    Don't patronize Wal-mart period! Wal-mart is just pushing the mom and pop stores out and taking over. Their prices are not falling either. Do some price checking. More crime will happen where there is high traffic. Buy gas during the daylight hours at a reputable gas station. More crime happens at mega stores and malls. There are more people around but crowds are not barriers for criminals.
