MARIETTA, OK -- A Love County couple who has been serving time in the same jail learned Wednesday that they will both be serving time with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.

Tina Smith and Bradley Taylor appeared in a Marietta court Wednesday. Smith worked at the Love County Jail until she helped Taylor, who was an inmate, escape in March.

He was an inmate, she was a jailer, and Tina Smith allegedly broke Bradley Taylor out of the county lock-up, all in the name of love.

They were caught eventually in Bowie, Texas.

Smith pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison, with three years probation after that.

Taylor received three years in prison for escaping.

Of course she is gonna be familiar with the jail and all it's ins and outs because she worked there... Just like anyone who works for a buisness that has cameras, the employees always find the places and spots where there are no cameras or there is a camera but you know it only reaches so far and they know that they wont be seen because of it. It's not that hard to do.

You know I think this story is HILARIOUS! It reminds me of the country song ole red. lol! I tell you what though...No matter how much I loved someone, if they were in jail or prison I'm sure the thought would have crossed my mind a time or two, but I would never do it because just like in this case, they both got caught, both got sentenced to prison, when instead they could have waited till he got out.

Anonymous, the word is THINK, T-H-I-N-K, THINK. The problem is not with what gender is supervising what gender, the problem is with morals, values, and priorities.

This either has the makings for a country song or a Jerry Springer episode.

Does he still love her since they got caught? I am sure he was using her for his escape and has since thrown her away like a piece of trash after they got caught. How sad, this girls life has been ruined because of "love"
