Services set for soldier thought to be Ardmore native in Georgia

ROME, Ga. (AP) - A U.S. Army sergeant killed in Iraq and thought to have been from Oklahoma was sent to Georgia instead for funeral services. Sergeant William Allmon was born and lived in Floyd County, Georgia, until age 12 and services will be tomorrow in Silver Creek, Georgia. The Pentagon originally said he lived in Ardmore.
