Put down the cell phone (number-1-with-a-bullet cause of accidents IMO), keep your eyes & ears open, keep the car stereo turned down to below ear-bleeding loud, have the seat belt fastened, hands on the wheel, and PAY ATTENTION when you're driving. The highways are only as dangerous as the motorists who use them. "Cranium rectumitis".......that's a good one been there.

I don't know the details, because there are really none other than an accident happened. But, don't you love it when you are driving down the highway and someone pulls out in front of you when there is ABSOLUTELY no one behind you? But they just can't wait...I hate that! Stupid people.

It doesn't matter if a road is dangerous or not people could care less and not drive safe and idoits have wrecks by not paying attention!

Well I dont know about the dangers of the whole 1417 road other than where construction is. But where this accident happened the view is prefectly clear in both directions. I could see the wreck long before I got to it. So once again I imagine it might have been someones lack of attention to what they were doing. Cranium rectimitus can be blamed for many of these ill fated mishaps.

The road is not dangerous. It's a perfectly safe road. It's the impatient & distracted motor vehicle operators that are dangerous.

Once again, THE most dangerous road in Texoma. At least two wrecks per week.

Pay attention people. Better make sure you have insurance so when one of these idiots hits you you will be able to take care of yourself. I heard 2 out of 5 motorists don't have insurance. Down right irresponsibile!
