Duncan man sentenced to life in prison for murder

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- A Duncan man is headed to prison for murder. Shannon Lowe, 39, was given three life sentences after pleading guilty to three counts of second-degree murder.

Lowe admitted to driving drunk and running down a group of motorcyclists near Ratliff City last summer.

Lowe will be 77 years old before he is eligible for parole.

    This was my step dad thanks for talking bad about him it was not murder it was man slaughter for thoes of you who do not know what that is it pretty much means he didn't freaking do it on purpose.... his now 5 year old son gets to see him about 2-4 times a year... he did have a drinking problem and he was finally starting to get help.... I miss him very much and I do have to dissagree that justice has not been surved I am sorry for your losses but I guess we had to lose him too.... :/

    I am so pleased to hear our Justice System has done a good job. I know and love both families involved and wish them all Peace.
