SHERMAN, TX -- The stars were out in Grayson County on Thursday, all for a good cause. Sports legends Everson Walls of the Dallas Cowboys, Norm Lyons of the Texas Rangers, and boxing promoter Don King were all at Texoma Christian School on Thursday morning to stress the importance of dreams.

Each of these men has had to make hard decisions in their lives, and "Overcoming Obstacles" was the theme of the event.

"If I do my part, which is to get up everyday and do my best, then I have to deal with the hand that's dealt me. That’s what life is about. It’s not always a bowl of cherries," former Texas Rangers baseball player Norm Lyons said.

The men also took a tour of the Grayson County Crisis Center.

Editor's Note: The staff highly recommends watching the Don King interview.

Everson Walls, sports legend? I'll give you that. Don King? Puh-leeze........and who the heck is Norm Lyons? Next time Walls comes to town, have him bring Troy Aikman, Nolan Ryan, and/or Roger Staubach. If I want a carnival sideshow, I'd rather not see Don King- I'll wait for the fair.

"Sports legend Norm Lyons? If he qualifies as a sports legend then I qualify as a journalism legend. KXII are you hiring?" Judge, you obviously are ignorant of the accomplishments he has acheived by Tom Hicks side since Hicks purchased the Rangers from Bush.

"Don King may be a nice guy but there is no way I would ever attempt to exchange money with him in the dark? He gives crooked snakes a bad name. But if someone wants to praise him, fine. Like he said, "only in America"." Well Harry, obviously you are envious, jealous, petty, and uninformed.

OMGosh!!! I can not believe a Christian School would allow DON KING to talk to the students. That man is the poster child for trash. He's a nasty talking, mean spirited, racist, liar. What in the world could that man have to say to children. What was that school thinking.
