DURANT, Okla. -- A suspect in possibly one of the largest utility thefts in Durant’s history has been arrested.

Robert Thomas Shoenwandt was arrested for stealing utility vehicles from Texoma Utility Equipment in Durant in January.

Dealership manager Kyle Richardson says authorities caught up with Shoenwandt in an undercover sting operation. They located two of the utility vehicles in Athens, and one in Temple, Texas.

Those vehicles have now been returned to the dealership.

Shoenwandt is out of jail on bond.
