ARDMORE, Okla. -- Police need your help in catching the man responsible for a bold crime in a busy part of Ardmore. Robin Beal reports from Twelfth and Washington in east Ardmore.

A man walked into the Pro-Mart Convenience Store on the corner of 12th and Washington around 10:30 Wednesday night and took an item up to the cashier as if he intended to pay for it. Then the man snatched a wad of cash out of the till when the drawer opened.

Police say it is a popular and busy spot, even at that hour of the night. The brazen nature of this crime has police asking for your help.

"The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10,” 160 pounds, with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with ‘Los Angeles’ in white letters on it," Capt. Eric Hamblin of the Ardmore Police Department says.

If you think you know who that man is or where he may be now, call Ardmore police.
