SHERMAN, Tex. - A Denison couple is dead following a bizarre traffic accident that shut down parts of two major highways.

The one-car crash happened after 6:30 at the Highway 75-82 intersection in Sherman.

Authorities say a van was northbound on the Highway 75 feeder road when it hit at least 2 different curbs and rolled over the bridge’s guard rail.

The van ended up on the embankment below, next to Highway 82.

One woman saw the accident and explains what happened. "He jumped the curb here... ended up here... then hit the guardrail... and went over."

The driver, Rajnikant Rami, 71, of Denison, died shortly after at Wilson N. Jones Hospital. His wife, Tarulata Rami, 67, was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas where she later died.

She was a crackhead.. I watched the camera man film her. SHe had 2 kids sitting on the curb while she told her story.IF the camera man went just a hair more to the left. I was sitting at the light in the right lane in a yellow dodge Truck.
