JOHNSTON COUNTY, OK -- A Connerville woman will not face charges for fatally stabbing her estranged boyfriend earlier this month.

The medical examiner was called to a home in Pontotoc, in Johnston County, on April 7. Authorities later confirmed that Presley Hamilton had been stabbed to death by Alice Pittman, an ex-girlfriend.

Pittman was kidnapped and threatened by Hamilton before she stabbed him.

The district attorney says it was self-defense.

If I feel physically threatened by anyone and it comes down to a me or you live situation, I'm going to choose me. I will do WHATEVER IS NECESSARY TO MAKE SURE THAT I LIVE. YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO DEFEND YOURSELF.

Yeah she murdered that guy and for good reasons. Im sure if it was you in that situation you would have done the same thing if he had kidnapped you and had threatened YOUR LIFE and that was your only means of escape!! I know that I would do the same thing she did if it had been me and the opportunity arose... It all comes down to your FIGHT or FLIGHT instincts... And she faught, she didnt cower in a corner and wait for him to kill her or whatever he was going to do...

It's good to know self-defense is still alllowed. There is common sense in the judicial system, after all. As for the gutless statement recently made by anonymous, please tell us all you know- we can spare the second or two.

When you are as bad as this guy was, nobody would believe your story anyway (if he had one).
