MADILL, Okla. -- A high speed chase that started in Gunter, Texas, early Thursday afternoon had law enforcement in hot pursuit of two people on a motorcycle, reaching speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour.

Officers said a motorcyclist was driving recklessly and refused to stop near Gunter. Instead, the male driver and a female passenger on the bike took off through Whitesboro north on Highway 377.

Within about 30 minutes, the chase had reached just south of Madill, near U.S. 377 and Highway 32 before the pair was apprehended.

Both the driver and passenger are now in custody. Their names and the exact charges they face have not been released.

WOW those officers should be repremanded for putting all those people in such great danger. police are thought to defuse a situation not agg it on.why chase to prove a point if a motor does not want to be caught you will not catch them.conserned bike rider.

The femail passanger was not arrested. But what is sorry is the police making a woman walk a mile to the nearest store to get a hold of some one to come get her after they found she was not guilty of anything and she fell and hurt her self walking. So guess it doesnt matter if your innocent or guilty any more you still get treated badly by cops.

Apparently they didn't catch all of the idiots...there was another one speeding down the road (377 across from Blackbeard) yesterday evening. They're just taunting the cops now (where are they when you need them)??

dork sometimes your comments isn't worth writting. anonymous i hope the motorcycle rider hit him hard enough to knock his head out of his a**!! open your eyes and pay attention to your driving. more people are riding due to the high gas prices. slow down and look twice. help everyone arive alive. i'm sure someone in your family or close friend rides. let's all be safe on the roadway!! we all want to make it home to see our families!!!

they need to be punished more just for running. It should be mandatory jail time of a year if you run from police like they did.

They are pursuing "motors"? Someone is riding a "motor"? Is it a small block or a V-6? That will surely make it to an episode of "Cops"! Whoop!

Why are grayson county LE officers still pursuing motors? All of your larger departments are no longer pursuing motors for traffic violations, it is way to dangerous. Your either going to kiil them, yourself or some inocent bystander. Quit chasing them, all your doing is making them challenge the motor they are riding.
