SHERMAN, Tex. -- Some road problems have been reported due to the heavy rain Tuesday morning.
A viewer north of Pottsboro reported getting more than four inches Tuesday morning. Because of the downpour, low areas took a quick washing.
The Harrison Street Bridge was closed for a time in Sherman. Crews also put up barricades along Brockett Street in Sherman, and at Taylor Street and U.S. 75, hay bales that washed into the drainage ditches caused water to back up temporarily.
We also had reports of flash flooding in Cooke County. In fact, County Road 408 closed because of high water.
