SHERMAN,TX---A dispute between two men ends with one of them shot. Sherman police say the two men involved do know each other, and apparently got into an argument.

Both men were armed and one shot the other.
Officers say the shooter immediately called 911.

The criminal investigation unit responded to the scene.
The resident who claims to have shot the victim is being questioned.

The victim was flown to the Baylor Hospital in Dallas with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.

Investigators are still on the scene searching for evidence. They say the case is just in the preliminary stages of investigation so no names are being released.

"The resident of the home is still here with us. He will be questioned further to determine exactly what the cause of the shooting was," said Sergeant Stephen Dean of the Sherman Police Department.

No word on the victim's condition. Investigators are still trying to determine the motive for the shooting.

Smart-one? That is a most inaccurate description of your statement. What happens when we don't send police and these "two idiots" kill an innocent by-stander? Or a child? Give me a break. I don't care if Iraqis want us there or not - us being there gives us presence in the Middle East, something we desperately need. Go read a history book or two on WWII and then you can shoot your mouth off about Iraq.

Just let these fools kill eachother! Stop spending my tax dollars to save these idiots! It's bad enough we are in Iraq saving those people spending tax dollars that don't even want us there! Yet there are children in this county going to be hungry, have no clothing and bad living conditions. America WAKE-UP!
