CADDO, Okla. – Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers shut down the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 69 just south of Caddo for almost two hours Thursday morning due to a gravel spill.

The bottom hatch doors on a gravel truck somehow came open and spilled gravel all over the highway just south of Caddo.

Another semi locked up its breaks when the driver tried to stop behind the first. Crews had to move that truck as well.

No one was hurt, but it did leave a mess for commuters after eight o'clock Thursday morning.
