If you're looking for something fun for the whole family, you don't have to look far. It's festival season, and several county fairs are going on right now.

The 13th Annual Grayson County Fair kicked off Thursday at Loy Lake Park in Denison.

There are plenty of rides for the kids, vendors, and live entertainment.

Organizers say businesses all over Texoma area are expected to attend.

The fair runs through Sunday.

The Fannin County Fair is also underway. This is the fourth year for the event, and organizers say they have seen record attendance so far.

Thursday was senior citizens' and veterans' day at the fair. There was a goat show, and the carnival begins Thursday night.

"The turnout has been phenomenal, even with our economic system right now. This is a family event right now and the whole community and county can come to this show and enjoy agriculture," Fannin County Fair vice president Kyle Payne said.

Fair activities take place at the Fannin County Multipurpose Complex.
