SHERMAN, TX -- A woman caught shoplifting Saturday at Wal-Mart threatened store employees that she had a gun.

Sherman Police responded just after 11 a.m. to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Sherman, where police found 41-year-old Alicia Marie Johnson. Johnson had been caught shoplifting by store employees and got into a physical altercation with one of them before police arrived.

Police say Johnson threatened to shoot the employees in attempt to maintain the merchandise she had stolen and flee the scene.

Johnson never brandished a gun; she only threatened she had one. She was arrested and police discovered she had 4 outstanding warrants out of Grayson County.

Johnson was charged with robbery and transported to the Grayson County Jail.
