Denison man drowns in Red River
Updated: 06/17/2013 - BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A man drowned Monday afternoon in Bryan County Authorities say it is the first drowning in the area this fiscal year.
The state of Texas is giving more time to opponents of the TXU power plants. Administrative judges in the state hearing office pushed the environmental hearings back until June 27th.
Environmental groups say this will give them more time to research their opposition to the coal-powered plants. On Tuesday a district judge blocked Governor Rick Perry's executive order and required the administrative judges to reconsider the hearing schedule.
