Oil tank fire in Sherman

Video will be available shortly.

SHERMAN -- An oil tank fire in Sherman on Monday started when a worker cut through the side of an oil collection drum.

Sparks from the saw landed in the bottom of the drum, igniting the leftover sludge.

The worker tried to put the fire out with dirt, but when that didn't work he called the fire department.

Sherman, Howe, and Grayson County Airport fire departments responded to the call.

The fire was eventually put out.

No one was injured.
