GCC bond issue passes by one vote

The Grayson County College Bond Issue came down to a single vote. We're told Monday morning the results are official.
The bond passed by one vote, college officials told us, after a decision was made by the Texas Secretary of State regarding a paper ballot that was cast in that referendum.

FOR 2,454
AGAINST 2,453
The bond calls for $44.8 million dollars to fund renovations and additions to the campus. Taxes on a $75,000 dollar home will go up about $52.00 dollars annually.
