Antlers manhunt called off, suspect still on loose

Video will be available shortly.

ANTLERS, Okla. -- A manhunt has been called off in Antlers, Oklahoma, after hours of searching for a fugitive.

Antlers police say they blocked every road into the city Wednesday night and asked every driver if they've seen David Ryan Robison, who escaped Lamar County custody April 24th (story) and is wanted on state and federal drug charges.

Police say a homeowner identified Robison after they say he tried to break into their home Wednesday afternoon.

"We’re advising all citizens in Antlers to keep your doors locked because this individual tried to break into a house on the northeast side of town."

Police say they don't know if Robison is armed or if he has ties to the Antlers area.

He is still on the loose.
