DURANT, Okla. -- A Durant child was taken the hospital Thursday afternoon after colliding with a car.
It happened around 12:30. Authorities say a group of children were playing on their bikes when they were allowed to cross the street by two approaching cars.
The kids passed, and as the cars drove by, a four-year-old boy came back onto the street, lost control of his bicycle, and ran into a black car.
The boy was taken to the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma for precautionary concerns.
His condition is unknown at this time.
