A high speed chase in through Grayson County ends with one man under arrest.
Louis Rodriguez is charged with aggravated assault on a public servant and evading arrest with a motor vehicle.
Sherman police say they were responding to a domestic dispute on Walnut Street, when Rodriguez jumped into his car, speed out of the driveway and hit an officers car.
He then took off and the pursuit began. The Texas Department of Public Safety and Denison Police assisted in the chase, which ended in front of Rodriguez’s home on West Gandy in Denison.
Rodriguez jumped out of his car and held a knife to his throat. Officers used a taser on the man and took him into custody.
Rodriguez is currently being held in the Grayson County Jail.
