DURANT, Okla. -- Bryan County authorities are investigating why Bobby Don Mullinix, who is being charged with the murder of Tristan Ace York, was released from the Bryan County Jail.

Mullinix was freed on bond May 23rd after he was arrested on a fugitive warrant issued out of Texas May 22nd. Oklahoma court records show Mullinix was convicted of rape in March.

Bryan County Sheriff Bill Sturch says the jail never received information about that sentence and allowed him to post bond for the fugitive charge.

U.S. Marshals arrested Mullinix and two others who authorities say are connected to the murder of Tristan Ace York earlier this week.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officials say Tristan Ace York was stabbed, beaten, and shot with a small caliber pistol, and now authorities say they arrested the people responsible.

Authorities say they became interested in Mullinix and two other people in connection with the case they're calling murder.

Durant police say 27-year-old Tristan Ace York was killed in Durant at a home on Meadowlark Lane, and then his body was dumped in Lake Texoma before it was discovered May 21st.

Oklahoma investigators followed up on leads that the suspects were near Fort Worth and asked the U.S. Marshals to help with the arrest.

Marshals say the suspects had been in Mineral Wells for three days staying at a friend’s house.

Mullinix, Charles Shannon Bussey, and Linda Gayle Haworth were booked into the Palo Pinto County Jail and were being interviewed on Monday

Mullinix and Bussey are being charged with first-degree murder and Haworth is accused of being an accessory after the fact.

Investigators say Bussey and Haworth live in Durant, Oklahoma, and York was staying with them after being released from the Bryan County, Oklahoma, jail where he was being held on drug charges.

Officials say Bussey and Haworth were Tristan York's roommates.

Yeah, that last person's right. In high school, Bobby was a spoiled brat. He always thought he was Billy B.A., and his mouth got him into a lot of trouble. This is the type of stuff that happens when you spoil and don't spank your kids. He should make a great addition to the prison environment. My heart goes out to the victims of these crimes and their families.

Bobby had a great childhood! His grandparents raised him and he got everything that he could ever want for. He was a little punk kid in school he was always trying to start fights. I remember in highschool he got into a fight and the other person broke his nose. Well Bobby I hope that you get the electric chair or the death penalty for all that you have done you deserve the worse of the worse for what you have done to these people and there families!!!

No, I am not afraid. What bothers me is the anger I suppress constantly. I don't like it. It takes too much energy. And as you said, I don't like having my peace of mind disturbed either. I've long hated this earth and never felt it my home, so I have to keep myself in check, as I'm not interested in "me." Never have been. But I've had many people tell me to keep going on for those who still need me. Why am I here? I'll be honest, I don't know. But I am, and here I will be until it's time for me to move on. As for Shannon and Bobby I hardly know what to say. HOW can they sleep at night? I COULD NOT. I have a hunch that what goes around is going to come back around, as you said. I can see/feel/smell that one coming. I've seen it happen and it does. It's interesting how it works. I HATE what happened to those two young men. It is abominable. God measures with His own rod. Funny about Shannon's disposition date. It should tell him something's not quite right.

Let me start by saying how truely sorry I am for your loss.I can not even imagine what you are going through.I will tell you that with Shannon as I stated, " He is a coward".I am sure that your grandchild is not in any danger from him, or Mullinix, or anyone they know. They are only tough when it comes to 2 on 1 or when they have a helpless woman all alone. You do not seem to be one of those to me.Your strength shines thru in your writings. Please don't let the actions of these 2 monsters rob you of your piece of mind.I know you can see your loved ones legacy in your granchilds spirit everyday, and I hope that gives you some measure of comfort.I will post on everyone of these that I can find because I am discusted by the "Saint" lies that have been posted by Shannon's friends and family, although I understand their denial. And I hope you continue to post if it gives you a way to vent.I know that Tristan,is far better off now than any of us,and the monsters WILL have to answer to MAN,and GOD

Dear writer, I have seen your posts as of recent and understand that you have your reasons to hold back from posting, both here and "other" places. I want to thank you for writing additional info that helps the families to understand the dynamics in the demise of two victims. Write more if you find your heart leads you. I find it noble of you to tell the stories untold. I wonder if I have speculated poorly about who was to blame and who was less likely to be blamed. Your words are gold to my aching heart. I have heard rumors about threats to my grandchild and it has been hard for me to not let the demon inside me out to do something black for that, for I would KILL to defend that child. I am having a horrible time with this. For the first time in my life I know my faith has been tested. I worry myself because I fear myself MORE than those who have wounded me. That is a confession from my heart. But Christ sustain me. I CAN'T disappoint my True Father. All will be reckoned.

I too have known Shannon (Charles) for many years. I have no idea who this great guy is that everyone keeps talking about? Shannon has been a criminal for most of his adult life. He and his male family members are all drug addicts and felons. He beat is wife, left his child for his drugs and dealt drugs to anyone he could. He was no saint! He is no different than Mullinix, and he was much older. All 3 including Linda desearve to face the same fate of their victim. No one involved was an angel, but for them to murder this man this way, how can any of them now live with their selves? Even if they receive the death penalty, it will never be as cruel and heartless as their crime. The 3 of them were rapists, drug dealers, thieves and now they have graduated to murder. Maybe if just one of them had to do any real time before this, they would have not been able to committ this crime. My prayers are with the families of all involved but to those 3 live by the sword, die by it!

Looks like one of the 3 you said were "responsible" for Tristan's death IS dead. Let's see now, how did that go again on June 6, 2007? Quoting you: "bryan county will face their mistakes as well as the other 3 that was in on this obviously some of the other post i have sent the people didnt fill should be posted so i wont say anymore except JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED REGARDLESS" Hmmm. As you thanked KXII for allowing you to post, no I wanna thank YOU because I wonder if KXII can go back and get your IP in case you're connected. Faron didn't kill Tristan. Faron was FORCED to be there AGAINST his will and was sick and freaked out about what was going on. He never laid a hand on that man. SO, you believe Faron was a killer? He was NOT. But I'm not so sure there isn't one who has posted on this message board. By the way, if you're gonna claim to be affiliated with a white supremacist group, you might want to know how to at least spell it. It's A-R-Y-A-N.

I knew Tristan years ago before he started getting heavily into drugs. He was a loving, caring person regardless of what he was into. I'm unsure of what he had been doing the past few years, but nothing could change the fact that he had a good heart and family and friends who loved him dearly. Peace be with you, Tristan.
