MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. -- Expanding business and attracting new companies to southeast Oklahoma is the goal of the Ardmore Development Authority. That's why they attended the Oklahoma Southeast Golf Festival.
Several company consultants meet with development officials and city leaders to network and encourage companies to bring business to the area.
"They're getting to see this portion of the state without having to read brochures then having to listen to a sales pitch and actually see what we have to offer in this part of the state," said ADA vice president of economic development Brien Thorstenberg.
Ardmore is looking to expand area industries like its automotive industry.
