MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. – Search and rescue teams have been searching all day Friday after a Kingston man went missing Thursday night on Lake Texoma.

Oklahoma highway patrol officials say when 68-year-old Warren Beasley was fishing Thursday night he called his wife asking her to bring him something to eat.

But he didn't show up to meet her, and no one has seen him since.

It was a fishing trip that ended before it could begin after 68-year-old Warren Beasley of Kingston went missing when Lake Patrol says he was trying to put his boat into the water.

Family members told police they hope there's a chance he's safe.

"If he was fortunate enough to get on to the shore walk into someone's house, or a neighborhood around here," said Darrell Northcott of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Authorities suspect he was trying to put his boat into Lake Texoma at McBride Ramp.

Relatives say Beasley has a heart condition that may have contributed to his disappearance.

"That could have been the main determinate of this accident so can't rule that out."

Ohp Lake Patrol and Marshall County Search and Rescue found his boat today. They say it drifted into a cove across the lake. Authorities say he probably wasn't wearing his lifejacket, since all of the jackets were still in his boat, and last night's windy weather created dangerous waters on the lake.

"It was high, it had been gusting all day long, and a storm front came through yesterday evening. That could have caused something to happen."

Search and rescue teams are working tirelessly, and family members are holding on to the bitter end.

"At this time, it's a long, drawn-out affair. It's even longer for the family."

Right now, Oklahoma Highway Patrol says they're investigating the case as a possible drowning.
