ARDMORE, Okla. -- Possible budget cuts are on the agenda Thursday night for Ardmore city school board members.
We told you last week the district was running about $350,000-$400,000 short.
Officials were able to reduce the staff by about five to six teachers and administrators through retirement and resignations, but that won't be enough.
The superintendent plans to discuss other ways to save money.
Board members will also advertise for bids for new buses, which was made possible by a $750,000 bond issue and push back next year's last day of school from May 22nd to 23rd.
That meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Administration Building.
