POTTSBORO -- A deadly accident Saturday night in Pottsboro occurred just before midnight on Highway 996 at Scott Hill Road.
DPS says it was a one vehicle accident. The driver was traveling southbound on Scott Hill Road when they he lost control of the vehicle crashing into a tree. His passenger, 17-year-old Jordan Onstott died from injuries sustained during the crash. The driver is a minor, so we are not releasing his name. This crash is still under investigation.
