SHERMAN -- A Denison woman was killed early Monday morning when she was trapped in high water in Sherman at Texoma Parkway and Highway 75, an intersection notorious for accidents.
Patricia Beshears, 48, of Denison, was on her way to work around 9:00 Monday morning when her silver Jeep Liberty wasn't able to withstand the high waters.
"When we reached the vehicle bystanders had actually pulled from vehicle to do CPR. It appears that she drove into high waters and was trapped in the vehicle," said Sherman Fire Chief Jeff Jones.
The flood waters have since subsided, but authorities say these kinds of accidents can happen at any given moment when Mother Nature strikes.
