DURANT -- A suspect in a bizarre kidnapping case in court today stood accused of kidnapping a Bryan County woman, stealing her car, and throwing her in the trunk.

The victim said she woke up in the trunk of her car with duct tape wrapped around her body and head wounds.

On Wednesday, she came face to face with the woman accused of the crime. A judge heard victim Lacy Makke's account of the night back in August of 2006.

Makke says she was drinking alcohol and bought Xanex tablets from Nicole Wright, the suspect.

Makke says she woke up in the trunk of her car, bound and injured.

She says it happened near the ranger station of Lake Texoma near the Roosevelt Bridge.

Wright was in court today and was charged with kidnapping, larceny of an automobile, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Wesley Daniels, Gordon White, and Stephanie Burge were also arrested in connection with the case.

Authorities say Makke was dumped on the side of the road in Garvin County only wearing a t-shirt and had visible head wounds.

One of the men charged in connection with the crime also testified today, saying he was afraid of Nicole Wright.

He said Nicole threatened to shoot Makke if she didn't stop yelling.

i was a good friend of the nicole wright at first i did not know about the way she was at first. then she pulled a stunt like she did with lacce makke.I thought she had no right to hurt her like that i do not like her now. i wish that she would not have hurt some one like that, i did not know lacce at all but no one deserves some thing like that to happen to them if i would have known that would be taken place i would have tried to stop it but i did not know about it.

Anon, Do you not have anything better to do than to critize what others have to say. You need to get a life. And to Nicole, I am sorry that you have to deal with people wondering if that was you.

can't you guys find something better to talk about other than what's worse..oklahoma or texas. get a life and get over it. no one cares. as for the nicole wright below. kxii doesn't owe you anything. it wouldn't matter if they showed a picture of her or not, when people see or here that name that's all they're going to think of at the moment. get over it and let people know that you are not the nicole wright they think you are. all of these petty things are make people look bad. don't be a poor representation of where you are from and who you are. grow up.

To Nicole: We were never provided a mugshot of this Nicole Wright. We have posted your comment and apologize for the misunderstanding. It just so happened that you have the exact name as this woman.

My name is Nicole D. Wright, and I live in Sherman, Texas and what really bothers me about this story is that the "Nicole Wright" who has done all of this was not shown on the news story last night even though the other suspects. No description or anything. So, I am just letting everybody who knows Nicole D. Wright from Sherman, Texas. This is not me. I have been at work all day and not in court. I think KXII owes it to me to show a photo of this "Nicole Wright" because this could become a detriment to my character.

Oklahoma, especially Bryan county is a great place to live and raise a family. There is crime here of course, but then there is crime everywhere. Bryan county and especially Durant has some of the best police officers there are. I am proud to be a part of this community.
