The Red River continues to rise. At noon Thursday, KXII received reports of the river reaching 27 feet, more than two feet above flood stage. It's projected to crest Thursday afternoon at 31 feet.
At Lake Texoma, the Corps of Engineers is reporting lake elevation at 626.92 feet. Normal is 619 feet, so that is a good seven feet above flood stage. It is expected to crest on July 5.
The Blue River in Bryan County and Clear Boggy Creek in Atoka County are both projected to crest sometime Thursday.
All of these are pending more heavy rain.
